MailroomIQ™ Privacy Policy
MailroomIQ may process account and contact information, mailbox and store relationship metadata, mail item metadata, exterior mail or package images, scanned contents or PDFs where enabled by the store, customer action requests, support records, audit and security logs, and app or device diagnostics.
MailroomIQ uses this information to operate mailbox, mailroom, virtual mail, package, billing, notification, account, and support workflows for participating stores and their customers.
Customer and operator information
When a customer requests mail forwarding, MailroomIQ collects the forwarding address and uses it to perform that requested service.
For store operators, MailroomIQ processes operator identity and account information, store assignments, operational task activity, and customer or mail searches used to perform store workflows. Operators may also upload exterior, package, mail, and scanned-content photographs as part of those workflows.
Notifications and mobile information
If you opt in to receive text notifications, MailroomIQ and participating stores may use your mobile number to send transactional and customer-service messages, including package pickup notices, mail pickup notices, virtual mail updates, invoice reminders, account-related notices, and support-related communications.
For mobile push notifications, MailroomIQ may process Expo, Apple Push Notification service (APNs), and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push tokens, as well as Firebase Installation or device identifiers where applicable. These identifiers are used for transactional MailroomIQ notifications and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Opt-in information and mobile numbers are not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may use service providers to help deliver messages and operate the MailroomIQ service, but they may use mobile information only to provide those services on our behalf.
You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP where supported. You can request help by replying HELP where supported or contacting [email protected].
Service providers
MailroomIQ uses service providers to operate the service, including Supabase; Cloudflare, Workers, and R2; Expo; Apple APNs; and Google Firebase and FCM. These and other providers may support hosting, storage, authentication, notifications, diagnostics, customer support, email or text-message delivery, security, and related operations. They are not provided information by MailroomIQ for advertising or tracking.
Store relationships, account closure, and retention
Mailbox stores remain responsible for physical mail handling, PMB status, pickup, forwarding, store policies, and applicable mail-handling requirements.
Users may request account closure or deletion by contacting [email protected]. Operational, audit, legal, security, billing, or mailbox records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary.
Information is retained as needed to provide the services, maintain operational, audit, and security records, satisfy legal or regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes or support requests. Retention may vary based on these criteria and participating-store requirements.
